Savitri Ratho was sworn in as Judge of the Orissa High Court by the Chief Justice Mohammed Rafiq today .
The Centre had cleared her appointment on June 9.
She is the third woman judge of the Orissa High Court after Amiya Kumari Padhi and Sanju Panda.
On January 22, the SC Collegium had approved the proposal of Orissa HC collegiums for elevation of Ratho.
Savitri Ratho is daughter of former Director General of Police (DGP) Prafulla Ratho. After completing her schooling, She pursued her Law degree from National Law University in New Delhi.
