Uttrakhand HC Directs State Govt To Remove All Shortcomings In Quarantine Centers

The Uttarakhand HC has directed the Government to pass appropriate orders so that the Gram Sabhas have sufficient funds to manage and run there centers.

In many of these quarantine centers there were only 1 or 2 toilets and 20-30 inmates .The states has also been asked to study reports filled by the District legal services authorities of Districts Nainital ,Udham Singh Nagar , Haridwar and Dehradun after inspected the quarantine centers in these areas .The Court also mention that the Gram Sabhas are also short of funds and the Government had directed all the District Magistrates to coordinate with Gram Sabhas and Gram Pradhans of such villages and provide them funds .The matter will now be taken up on June 17.
