JNU Violence FIR transferred to Crime Branch from Vasant Vihar (North) PS; Delhi Court seeks status report within seven days:

There is early hearing a filed application Advocate: aditi pujari, tara narula,  kriti awasthi and viren bansal.

The application informed that on February 20 the investigating 3 member of the agency visited her home to inquiry about the incident.The present application has been moved seeking early hearing of the complaint cases under section 156(3) CRPC filed by the complaint.

The State report filed a case vide FIR informed the Court that an FIR under Sections 145/147/148/506/34 IPC and Section 3 of Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 2007 had been registered at Vasant Kunj North Police Station and transferred to Crime Branch.

A Delhi court informed that yesterday register an FIR ,which was registered in connection with attack on January 5 the teacher and students and staff of the JNU.

There has been transfered to the crime Branch of delhi police.It is further submitted that due to the lockdown pendamic Covid-19 .The matter was adjourned to 25.4.2020 and was again adjourned 18.6.2020 it is the contention of the applicant that no step have taken  till date mo FIR has been registered.More than four month elapsed .since the incident no investigation had been made after that that applicant moved an early hearing before the chief metropolitan magistrate Patiala house court .

Now it was started the investigating  after the request for early hearing was allowed the matter was take up yesterday by MM Sandwar.

“Let a status report be called from Crime branch, New Delhi within seven days from today in FIR no 6/2020 mentioning the details of the FIR and the action.Further proceedings shall be subject to the above requisite status report”

The matter would be heard next on May 18.
