The Sharda University is a Private University located in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR,India.It established through an act of state Legislature of Uttar Pradesh(14 of 2009).It is registered under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 by University and Grants commission.

Infrastructure

Not less than a town!Sharda University Campus is around 63 acres of land and it has each and every facility within the Campus so there is no need of visiting outside the Campus, lot of facilities can be availed  within in the Campus.With state of the art facilities and upgraded infrastructure Sharda University is one of the best university in the country matching international standards. The technologically upgraded classrooms facilitate teaching through advanced tools and techniques. The university has centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled projectors, tutorial rooms, multiple libraries, a state-of-the-art seminar rooms and multiple fully equipped auditoriums, medical support systems(Sharda Hospital).School of Engineering has 41 labs to do research and studies. School of medicine has 28 laboratories for practical exposure. Separate AC/Non AC hostels for boys and girls are provided with a capacity of accommodating 3200 students. Various sports facilities including basketball, badminton & tennis courts, football, hockey and a cricket field are available.The Campus is filled with lot of greenery and freshness which provides ones a fruitful experience and eco-friendly environment.The libraries at Sharda University are broadly divided into six sections: Reference Sections, Circulation Sections, Audio-visual Sections, Periodical Sections, Book Banks and Digital Libraries.

This library has a collection of over 1 lakh books, 5,000 bound volumes, and 100 current subscriptions to journals, magazines and newspapers. Apart from this, around 5,000 full-text journal titles are available. The library stands on an area of 8000 sq. ft, and remains open 15 hours a day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on all days, and up to 19–20 hours a day during examinations.

Academics and faculties

The School of law provides for BBA LLB,BA LLB,B.Com.LLB,B.Sc.LLB and B.Tech.LLB programmes with an intake of 120 in each of the 5 streams.There are around 30+ faculties at law Dept. which are not only experienced but have a good command on their legal skills and knowledge.

Administration and Fee Structure

Administration is quite strict.Every student must adhere to Attendance policy. Fees when compared to other private law schools it is equal otherwise it is costly.

Cafeteria

There are about 10 cafeterias located in different blocks of the campus.Apart from Cafeterias, the campus also holds mini refreshment joints where students can chill out.Lego House,Amul Milk Parlour,Urban Thali ,Café Coffee Day,Nestle are already running their outlets on the Campus.Food ranges from high rates to cheap ones also.

Student culture and Activities

 In this University with 85 + Nationalities it provides vast culture experience which shapes the mind set of an individual in different perspective.

Not only we get degree at the end but lot of exposure and experience is also provided.We get to learn about various student’s culture at the international level also.Activities and events are organised on a large scale by keeping in mind about the national as well as international students engagement, even specific programmes for international students are also held in the college to boost their confidence, making them familiar with the other students so that they don’t feel nostalgia.

Sharda University has a well laid-out systematic process of meeting students career aspirations and corporates expectations. The Placement department function as a bridge between the University’s Schools , Industries and Students.

Best Thing

There are numerous things and activities you can do in the University which will never allow you to sit idle and gives you ample opportunity to develop your skills and viewpoint.The campus is huge you can explore each and every area with your friends.It is a world in itself. The Faculty is very motivated and friendly.

Worst Thing

Attendance policy, Sometimes university fails to abide by their own rules.Also classes starts too early in the morning i.e 8:45 am.
