As we all known that Health is worth quite learning during this regard a plea has been challenged within the Supreme court against the decision of UGC.

On July 6, the University Grants Commission (UGC) issued a circular regarding compulsory completion of final year or semester examinations of varied UG and PG courses in universities and colleges across the country by 30 September 2020.

Students from different institutions across the country had filed a petition within the Supreme Court. during which the cancellation of ultimate year or semester examinations has been demanded. The petition sought to be prepared on the idea of students’ results, their internal assessment or past performance. But UGC said that final year exam may be a crucial step within the academic way forward for a Students

Students face many problems starting from Internet connectivity to course completion. Students have difficulties that faculties across the country are closed during the Holi holidays. After this, they had to travel home because of to lockdown and therefore the Study Material locked in Hostel . Even 20-30% of the syllabus isn’t completed. How are you able to take an exam during this situation? If we take the exam offline, parents, teachers and staff, including ourselves and other students, also will be in danger of infection, which could cause heavy losses because the cases are rises day by day.

On Friday , Senior Advocate Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi has challenged the directions issued by University Grant Commission (UGC) to carry final year / semester exams by September 30, 2020 comprising a bench of Justice Ashok Bhushan, R Subhash Reddy and M.R. Shah.

A plea has been challenged by the Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu on behalf of petitioner Yash Dubey in Supreme court on August 14 . He contended that educational institutions are remain closed thanks to the epidemic and that we aren’t against the examinations but we are against the examinations during this pandemic. He further said that it’s the violation of Article 14 of the constitution. aside from that Shyam Dewan told SC that “When the Exam Can’t be held in April with 1137 covid-19 cases, how can they be held with many cases now?”

Supreme court has been adjourned the hearing and therefore the next hearing on this matter are going to be on August 18.
