Telangana High Court on Wednesday expressed view on that state must ensure availability of ambulances on national as well as state highways which is being used by the migrant workers which might also include pregnant ladies and children to ensure their safety, security and health.

The court reacted and paid its concern towards the tragic incident which took place on April 24.  Jenila a -20 year old pregnant woman from Jogulamba Gadwal district gave birth to a baby boy who died within few hours and later after a day she died too due to irresponsible and inappropriate response by concerned doctors of different government hospitals which denied hospitalizing and offering treatment to the suffering woman. It is such a harsh reality that pregnant women are denied treatment in government hospitals suspecting them to be corona positive patients, observed Justice B.Vijaysen Reddy.
